You're spot on. I think that would be true in the US as well. Typical SJWs tend to be a combo of coddled upper middle class and being broken/ugly/failure in life. With Indians, whether in the US or the UK, it's taken to the extreme because the pressure to succeed and coddling is much more. Indian girls have an even worse upbringing than white upper-middle-class girls (if you can imagine that). In the most financially successful community, you can also expect the most fucked up individuals. Imagine 50%+ of girls getting in the health sciences and you're the one bitch who graduates with a BA in literature. Your only real choice is to be an SJW to signal virtue and go super hard at it to compensate for your failure.

And I absolutely agree, Indian girls and even guys can be the worst SJWs. People like this Zarna Joshi, Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari (muslim) and Hassan Minhaj (another muslim). Note how once again none of them have succeeded in the traditional Indian sense of the word - actors, entertainers, community workers - basically losers compared to the MDs and MBAs. So yes, we should absolutely be very mindful of people like this Joshi character.

But I stand by my original statement, which is that at large the Indian American community is not influencing American culture. I'll address the anti-male/anti-sex thing at the end. As I said, I'm heavily in the crowd and the conversations I hear are always about normal stuff, like career, money, girls, working out. I can't think of a time someone actually said: "You know, I really don't like this part of American culture, we should change it."

And perhaps it's not so surprising - what do a Gujarati Patel (business people), Jatt Sikh (farmers) and Bengali Muslim (scholars) really have in common besides skin color? Some are really into drugs and alcohol, some are OK with arranged marriages, some are vegetarians, others eat everything, a lot are in the medical fields, others in the motel/hotel industry. I see very little cohesion with respect to a lot of things. With most of my friends, I share nothing in common except
a) skin color
b) we hate how stuck up Indian girls are
c) we're young professional millennials

Even politically, we're a weird bunch. Unfortunately, most of us are registered Democrats. But I know quite a few that are conservatives - I would hypothesize we might have the largest pro-Trump percentage out of any minority. Though there's no data for it and it would probably still be a paltry minority. But then again, the biggest donor to Trump is apparently an Indian guy who runs the Republican Hindu Coalition. So go figure.

Now, did Indian Americans have an influence on the anti-sex/anti-male environmentment on campus? I don't know. Yeah, there's the few super crazy Indian SJWs, but by and large the Indian girls I know from multiple colleges - they stick to Indian cultural stuff like Bhangra, Raas, Indian Student Association, Indian sororities. I really can't think of any Indian girl I know who was pushing an anti-sex thing actively. Even passively, the vast majority of Indian guys and girls were getting into relationships (predominantly within the Indian community) and getting it on. I actually found Indian girls to be more slutty than white girls. Lots of crazies, hoes and cheating going on all around.

The reality is that Hinduism has no rigidness to it - besides karma and the gods, there's really no unifying principle or guidance. At best, you could say all Hindus should follow their 'dharma', which roughly translates to 'doing your duty in life' (and it's up to you to figure out what that is). At worst, the vast majority of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains are that in name only. When a large majority of Jains drink alcohol, or Sikhs don't wear a turban - American culture has had a much more significant influence on Indians than the other way around.

That said, I do think DoBa has a point - I'm very annoyed at toolbags like Aziz Ansari and I do worry that especially with the 3rd generation, there's going to be a lot of losers who will have the time and luxury to want to influence American culture. It might happen within a decade or two. Maybe even sooner. Expect many more crazy Indian SJWs - assuming SJWs is still a thing. The moment being an SJW or feminist stops being a thing, expect Indian SJW to toe that line as well. Indian people tend to follow upper class white people's example.
