I just keep adding to my positions in dividend yielding stocks. This week bought 150 shares of Chevron which will add around $650/yr of income with good prospects of 5%+ annual dividend growth.
Ultimately, the goal is to build up these dividends a couple of hundred bucks at a time until it gets to an amount where it's viable to live off in conjunction with geographic arbitrage. Lots of ERE bloggers espouse this, 262 on this site seems to make it work for himself.
