A preacher was giving a speech at a wedding I attended last year, and he was suggesting that if men could, they should take multiple wives. He said this would be good because there are too many unmarried women in our community. I dont actually know anyone who's done this though. I personally think given the opportunity I may want to give it a chance, but I certainly dont have resources atm.

But then I guess I and (to some extent) my 'group' are all "degenerate" "low-life monkeys" not "higher-life civilized" humans such as yourself.

So that's over 1,000 societies practicing polygamy out of 1,231 seen. You also need to understand that this does not include what I would call 'tolerated' polygamy which also exists in America and Great Britain, and also does not include the keeping of mistresses, something which (until very recently atleast) was quite common within the Noble classes.

I dont think it's helpful for you to get upset. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed to me your declaration was somewhat blue-pill in nature. You both put the girl on a pedestal ("special") and also seem to see yourself as the passive one in the scenario. I didnt realise you would get so upset by the observation and I thought this was the type of thing we discussed here.
