Boise has been near the top of my list if I decide on a US base again. However, it is a heavily Democratic city and Hillary stomped Trump in Boise even though Trump handily won the state so that sends up a red flag for me. My concern is that as the left gets increasingly loony that Boise will increasingly not be a good place to be for someone on the right who is anti SJW. Unlike SF, LA or NYC, there will at least be a sizable subset of non left but any general activity that brings together a variety of people may soon have to be avoided in any place that is majority Democratic.
