Wonder Woman has stayed the same mainly because in most versions of the character she's the child of the fucking Greek gods. She's practically immortal. About the oldest she's ever been was in Mark Waid's (glorious) take on the character in Kingdom Come ... in which Bruce Wayne has white hair, Superman is just about to enter the look of a fortysomething guy, and she -- at the very end of the story -- gets her first white hair.

This is like complaining that though Iron Man has gone through about 20 versions of his armour, Thor is still wielding a hammer and wearing winged helmets.

Me, one of my favourite takes on the character was the XXX parody version:



The same porn actress did a porn parody version of Agent Scully. The costume alone had more production values than most attempts at Wonder Woman on TV.
