Was curious about Luanda myself, after meeting some hot ass Angolans around the world - but sounds like its a very high risk place specially now. I rather not fuck with that unless I was an expat with a bodyguard or something.
I already went to Maputo in Mozambique which is probably similar in many ways (ex-portuguese, oil rich, etc)
and it was kind of a very expensive shithole where you need to keep your guard up at maximum level at all times, and bribe the police on a daily basis just for being white. No thanks
