I'm up. Are you long term or visiting? If either, there are way better places than Medellin. It's the archtype of the overblown, gringo from everywhere (even Europe, which makes no sense. Way better places to go. I only frequent Colombia because it's the only place to go to on a four day weekend with decent genetic chicks.)
The Paisas are no differen tfrom the Rollos (Bogota), there are just less mystery meat chicks in Medellin; they are more fashionable, but more greedy and shallow, which is striking for South America, given those are really prominent and negative characterists.
