These fall directly into your price range. I was debating back and forth because I've never owned a pair of wedge boots -I work in construction and every single guy I work with wears wedge boots, they swear by them but I've always worn boots with a heel, but it's very tough to find a good casual 8" boot that isn't a wedge. So I went with these and love 'em so far. A classic American boot.
