Another one used in a slightly specific situation, when a girl is attention baiting and trying to get a compliment, lets say about her new haircut.
What she wants you to say "I love your new hair"
What I say "I like girls with {insert hair style} hair"
You deliver the compliment, but you dont personalize it. You arent complimenting her, hell you could possibly be complimenting someone else. It plays on the natural neurosis of most women.
Same thing goes with saying "You look really good RIGHT NOW" vs "You look really good" You modify the statement and put a expiration on it. This gives incentive to try again next time, since she doesnt inherently look good, its just right now when she's put effort in that she looks good. I hear a lot of black/spanish guys say this and something tells me its not coincidence that black/spanish girls tend to dress better more often.
