Yesterday I was riding on the subway and I take a seat. On my left is a female college student with fake blond hair who for a moment I contemplate opening but when I see she has earbuds in I don't bother. On my right is a post-wall mid-40's woman with brown hair and black leather jacket. She gets out her Samsung smartphone (I can see that the desktop is a Patriots logo) and she proceeds to make a call.

"Hey Sonny, it's Jo....I'm on my way to work..." She has a wicked Bahhstan accent. She's holding the phone out in front of her horizontally while talking quite loudly and the whole car can hear. She relays some logistical information, something about knowing where her house is, etc. It all sounds like a very boring conversation (I'm thinking maybe the guy she is talking to is a plumber, and she is a real estate agent?) until she says, "and this time make sure you don't shave." Upon which I make a face not unlike the Roosh on Dr. Oz .gif and think: What?

Then the call ends and she goes to her text message app. I can read a bit of the last few texts in the conversation preceding the call.

Woman: I want to tell you how wonderful our lovemaking has been for me.

Man (who by his picture looks to be a 'silver fox' type in his 50's): Yeah me too. Just make sure for next time you tell Sonny not to shave.

And she texts him back to let him know that's what she just did. Then she goes and plays Candy Crush. A few minutes later she looks out of the corner of her eye to see if I'm looking at her phone.

So what do you think the conversation was about? What body part was shaved that shouldn't be? Was 'Sonny' really a guy? So many questions.
