Girls generally are much better than men at following orders and instructions. This is why they do better at school than boys. This also explains why younger girls are attracted to older confident men. They crave guidance in most things from a strong leader.
Be a stern (but patient) teacher. Make her pratice over and over again until she gets it right. Use punishment and reward. Praise her when she does a good job. Go cold, ignore and don't touch her at all when she is lazy and not making any effort.
