You can't make this shit up. The irony is of Shakespearean proportions.

Anna Stubblefield has been on AVfM's radar for a year -- ever since her committal -- but she's just been found guilty of raping a disabled, mute, cerebral-palsy-stricken man twice.

Her defence was that their sex was consensual. She teaches a course in "facilitated communication" where you supposedly can communicate with poor bastards who've lost all motor control by steadying their hand when typing to stop their hand shaking.

All the other hallmarks were here. Turning on the tears when convicted and fucked up family life:

Her defense lawyer James Patton requested that Stubblefield be released on bail because she was not a flight risk and had her 15-year-old daughter to take care of, who has significant emotional problems and suffers from bi-polar disorder.

Patton added that the 45-year-old professor was not a danger to society, has no prior history of sexual misconduct and no criminal history.

Prosecutor Eric Plant opposed the request and asked that Stubblefield be placed in custody immediately.

Judge Siobhan Teare denied the defense's request for bail. She said: 'It's one thing to be accused and it’s another thing to be convicted.'

Stubblefield laid her head on the table and then sobbed: 'Please take care of my daughter.'

Is she a feminist? Yes: she's taught gender studies courses.

Does she have fucked up ideas about race? Yes: even published a book on it proposing the following pearls of wisdom:
