Why is that necessarily a bad thing if its not through affirmative action from government policies? Meritocracy makes sure the best out of ANY race gets the job. This policy has made US and Singapore where they are today. It's the affirmative action that ensures selected group admissions that fucks it up.
Who gives a fuck exactly why or how you got dispossessed? At the end of the day, you are dispossessed, and that's a bad thing. Westerners have this stupid ideological way of looking at the world. Fuck the ideology. Look at the outcome. If an ideology leads to you/your people being worse off, then that ideology should be shunned. In this case, if the combination of Asian immigration + meritocracy leads to Americans losing out the most desirable positions and declining in socioeconomic status, then clearly you have got to say fuck it to either Asian immigration or meritocracy.
