I'm gonna say he deserves it for losing his cool, it will be a good lesson to keep him from fucking up again. Didn't he punch a woman in the head? He doesn't get sympathy from me when he loses some business over it.

Hasn't he already served his punishment over the incident in the US? A man should be able to get on with his life and make a living. When he got in trouble he was only 19 years old...how many us did stupid shit aged 19?

A plea deal has been reached between Los Angeles prosecutors and pop star Chris Brown, who is accused of assaulting singer Rihanna before the Grammy Awards.

Brown will plead guilty to a felony and receive six months in jail or community labor -- such as graffiti removal or trash pickup -- and five years' formal probation. He will also undergo domestic violence counseling. Judge Patricia Schnegg said he will be allowed to complete counseling, community labor and probation in his native Virginia, but is to be treated there like any other offender.

There's plenty of other musicians that have done worse shit than Chris Brown, look at the late Rick James for example:

Rick James Gets Out of Jail, His Fiancée Goes In (story from 1996)

"Superfreak" Rick James was all set to marry fiancée Tanya Hijazi when he left California's Folsom State Prison Wednesday, but there was one little catch. Although the singer is finally free after more than two years, his bride-to-be is now behind bars.

Hijazi, the mother of James' 4-year-old son, was arrested Monday for allegedly shoplifting a pair of boots in Northern California. The former model is in the Marin County jail pending a hearing.

Hijazi was with James in 1993 when he invited a woman into a hotel room for a business meeting. According to prosecutors, after the meeting ended, James--coming down from a cocaine binge--bound and beat the woman for 12 hours. James, who was out on bail for an earlier assault charge when the incident occurred, was convicted of assault and holding the woman against her will. Hijazi pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to two years. In 1994, a jury awarded the victim $2 million in damages in a civil lawsuit.

James has reportedly written 400 songs while in prison and is heading back to the studio to record.

If we started banning musicians who act like dicks in their personal life, there wouldn't be much music left...
