I am not Spanish, so I am not properly here to defend them. But a fact is that besides of Poland, there is no other place where is visible thirsty hordes of Spanish people, opposite to Italians, Turks, Brits, Australians and so on who are virtually everywhere.
In Poland happened an unprecedented phenomenon in wich women of a country have an abnormal fetish for men of other country. Lets not put aside here some factors who helped to this, Spanish culture is very strong, classical and modern, they are successful in sports, many sports heroes, multiple world and european champions in collective and individual sports, including football/soccer, Fc Barcelona/Real Madrid, the country who attracts more tourists in the world, generally they have happy personalities, a good way of life...and so on.
So basically they found a loophole in male/female relations in Poland, and they capitalized on it.
Probably things for them now are not what they used to be, girls are a little more clever after some broken hearts and lies, and local guys catched up on them style and lookwise. But the legends spread and Spanish continue to go there and could not say to the friends back home who where in Poland previously that they are not banging or banging subpar girls...
