Hey dude, I just looked up that postcode. That's absolutely fine. In terms of day game you'll be in a prime spot. A stone throw from El Barrio del Carmen, Plaza de la Reina and Xativa all the bustling places during the day so that will be fine. Near the beach can be a bit boring I think as there isn't a lot always going on there, so I think you will be well positioned.
In terms of getting to venues etc, Valencia despite being Spain's 3rd city is easily navigable and you can get around in taxis fairly cheaply. E.g. from your place to La Luna Rossa near the beach wouldn't be a massive ball ache. All in all I think you're in a good spot man. If you want to get a nice paella takeaway lunch, there was a place I used to go to on Isabel la Catolica just off Marques del Turia if you want to try it, I highly recommend it.
