The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of the New Right (And What this Means for Men)

September 11, 2015 By Mike Cernovich 48 Comments

The rise of Donald Trump and neo-nationalism in Europe shows the political landscape is shifting. Indeed, my own voice is growing more influential, as measured by any sort of metric you desire.

Mainstream Republicans all know me and they will not address me, instead attacking people for being anonymous on Twitter. They are afraid that my influence will continue to grow. But they cannot stop me. It’s too late.

After remaining apolitical for years, I’ve had to start advocating on behalf of men due to changing circumstances.
If you’re a man, there’s a target on your back.

We all know the Democratic party hates men, but until recently the Republican Party was at least ostensibly not hateful towards men.

Yet despite the GOP controlling the Senate, not a single Republican senator spoke out against the rape hysteria. (Read: Men are the New Witches.) Due process protections are being eroded for men. If a woman regrets having sex with you, you re a rapist, and there’s not a damned thing Republicans will do to support you.

Do I exaggerate? This is what occurs in a Republican controlled Congress:

At a congressional hearing on campus sexual assault, Colorado Rep. Jared Polis suggested that expelling students based solely on the idea that they might have committed a crime is an acceptable standard. And the hearing audience applauded him.

Further:

“I mean, if there’s 10 people that have been accused and under a reasonable likelihood standard maybe one or two did it, seems better to get rid of all 10 people,” Polis said.

As of right now, we men have no political support. There is no political party or even political caucus within a party looking out for us.
We are on our own.
Or are we?

The New Right: Out With The Ugly.

In the past week Republican pundits have attacked me for going to the gym, having normal heterosexual relationships with women, and making a living by selling books.

Corny, sure. Yet to Republicans enjoying the company of women is vile.

Another Republican falsely accused me of threatening him with rape.

The GOP has become feminized to the point that their attacks on me are indistinguishable from attacks SJWs make. (SJWs always lie.)

The Curious Case of Roosh V.

When Roosh V gave a worldwide tour, he was physically assaulted in Montreal and Toronto. If Roosh had insulted feminists to their faces or behaved like a boor, hey, charge it to the game. (Read: Roosh V Wins Battle for Free Speech.)

Roosh insulted no one, instead asking people to respect his right to privacy and right to free speech. Roosh wanted to give a private talk to people who had purchased tickets. That was it.

Yet Roosh did not incite an assault against himself. He instead took several (costly, I might add) measures to keep feminists away from him. He even had to hire bodyguards.

Roosh’s life was threatened for giving a speech in private.

What Republican had his back?

If a woman like Jessica Valenti had faced even 10% of the attacks Roosh had faced, Reason, the National Review, and every other conservative publication would have been quick to speak out.

Roosh’s rights do not matter, because Roosh is a man.

The New Right: “The Bad.”

There is a new anti-Semitism arising in the United States. As a member of the new right, people ask me repeatedly to address this. This section shall serve as my stock reply.

Whether someone is a Jew or not means nothing to me either way. I won’t censor myself lest you are offended, nor will I hate you because of it. I’ll treat you like a man.

Yet there are many conservative political pundits who remind others that they are Jews. They claim any failure to support Israel is anti-Semitic. They also attack other groups of people such as working class whites.

Kevin Eder offers one of countless such examples.

Kevin Eder racist.44 AM

When conservative pundits overtly mock job losses endured by working class Americans, how can they expect those same people to support their causes?

In what world should white working class Americans care about Israel? Among the old right, loyalty was a one-way street, with working class whites rushing to die in wars fought on Israel’s behalf, and with direct attacks on Americans (such as the U.S.S. Liberty Incident) being swept under the rug.

Attacks on working class whites has led to rage and anger. When you go around saying, “I’m a Jew and I hate white people,” it’s a bit much to cry when they return the sentiment.

Anyone who cares about peace should spend less time distancing themselves from “racists” on Twitter and spend more time calling out pundits.

Here’s an idea for Jonah Goldberg, Kevin Williams, Cathy Young, and the many other right wing pundits who clutch pearls when faced with “Nazi trolls” on Twitter.

Stop making racist attacks against white people, Mr. Kevin Williams.

Kevin Williams racist.00 AM

Ignore the trolls. Focus on the pundits. It’s the pundits, after all, who have large platforms. They are the ones who need to mind their words, as the price of fame and influence is noblesse oblige.

When so-and-so says, “Let’s all have a great laugh at Americans who lost their jobs,” reply with, “It’s not actually funny that working class Americans are jobless and suffering. Let’s save our energy to attack the other side.”

Or don’t.

After all, all comedy should be allowed. All speech should be allowed. Laugh at everyone, including: working class whites who lose their jobs and are homeless, black people with funny names, Jews who are mad about the Iran deal, women who are fat, and gays who get HIV.

Oh we went there, didn’t we? You can make fun of hopeless white Americans who are suffering, jobless, and hungry. That’s fine. All of those other jokes would be hate speech.

When you selectively single out my speech for attack, or when you fail to defend Roosh, you expose yourself as hypocrites without any moral principles. You lost the moral high ground.

Policing the bad side of the new right is not my responsibility. What they do is their business. I have enough battles going on without fighting yours.
You have already failed to have the backs of me and my friends.
You have stabbed us in the back when given a chance.

I’m too busy to go around “renouncing” people. Don’t ask me to. If you want to lump me in with people I don’t agree with or use my silence as tacit assent, whatever. I’m used to having people lie about me.

If you are not my friend, then I am not yours.

Not being my friend does not make you my enemy.

That’s a choice you make. Either tell the truth about me or say nothing.

If you want to lie about me, well, go ask Sam Biddle how well that worked out for him.

The New Right: The Good.

There’s a new right rising. This new right isn’t interested in the soft-bodied opinions of 60-year old cucks who are ashamed of being men and have surrendered their country to SJWs.

We don’t care if you call us men.

We don’t care if you call us racists.

We don’t care if you call us misogynists.

We laugh when you call us mentally ill for lifting weights.

Lifting weights depression in men.49 AM

We think it’s hilarious that you think our attraction for women is somehow deserving of scorn.

We embrace those labels, as we reject your status hierarches and definitions of respectability.
Illegitimate is the new legitimate.

Over the years my rhetoric has become more heated and extreme. There’s good reason for this.

For years I primarily wrote about obvious double standards between men and women. I spoke about my enjoyment of female companionship and explained the increase and risk of false rape accusations.
Thirty years ago I wouldn’t have been allowed to exist,
not due to my shocking nature.
I’d have been too banal to notice.

Times, as they say, have changed. Today my perfectly boring observations about the world classify me as an edgelord.

Defending a man’s due process rights in rape trial and campus rape hearings should not be edgy. It should be conventional and safe.

In return I was called a vile misogynist by a Reason magazine employee, who sided with a SJW who lied about me.

The GOP War Against Men.01 AM

This is the person who doesn’t care when others on her side mock working class white Americans. (Do note the Reason crowd has also never called out any of the unprovoked attacks that were made against me.)

If collective guilt is bad, why countenance those attacks made by your friends while calling me out? If “mean Tweets” are wrong, why not have my back when people attack me unprovoked?

The chattering class has no principles at all and are far more interested in status signaling to SJWs that they are good people, unlike Cernovich!

My hope is that our faction of new right is one where men unite for common causes and set aside racial differences. I have no interest in racism and anti-Semitism.

Note: What is racism? Criticizing blacks for acting badly is not racist. Nor is not caring about Israel anti-Semitism. Uniting for political reasons as whites is also not racist, as every other racial and ethnic group forms caucuses. Hating black men or Jewish men for no other reason than they are black and Jewish is the issue. Identifying as a white man is not.

What’s really going to happen?
As illegitimate as I am by mainstream standards, my message is relatively moderate.

I want to be able to run my businesses. I want to be able to sell books. I want to enjoy sex with women. I want to keep my social media profiles on the same footing as others. (Ever notice death threats against white men are allowed, where as one mean Tweet by me is all it takes to get suspended?)

Straight white men should not suffer the original sin of being born straight white and male.

Men should have due process rights.
In short I want equal treatment under the law.
Boring stuff.

If women can united for common causes, then men can, too.

If you’re going to allow blacks, Hispanics, Jews, and every other racial group form parties based on ethnicities, then you must allow whites to do the same thing.

I would rather see all such race-based causes disappear. Until then, fair is fair.

The White Party or even White Male Party is absolutely appropriate in a time when identify politics are how the game is played.

When a feminist pulls a fire alarm to disrupt a meeting of men, she should be arrested.

When a rabid SJW attacks Roosh, she should be arrested.

No one should wonder if Roosh “had it coming” because he wrote books others do not like.

When Roosh or other men face death threats for perfectly lawful speech, we need to start seeing some articles and getting some support.

Call out the bad behavior by all sides, or call none of it out. Or be a hypocrite. It’s your life.
Equal treatment, it seems, is too much for us to ask.

Mainstream pundits will continue to attack men and laugh when they are sent to prison and expelled from colleges after false rape accusations.

Job losses and homelessness will continue to be funny when it happens to white working class people.

Male suicide, which is four times the rate of female suicide, is still a laughing matter.

Men will become more militant, and militant men tend to become nationalists.

Right now might be too late to stop the loud march of neo-fascism in the United States..

Until then, I’ll do my part to keep the peace.
Unfortunately politics is not a hobby for me.
It’s a way of life, as our very liberty and economic freedom is under attack.

I could be killed for being a white straight man, and no one other than those of you reading would have my back or care.

The National Review wouldn’t care. Reason magazine wouldn’t care. No mainstream writer or publication would care.

I deserve to die.

Indeed, we all deserve to die.
It’s time for us to look out for one another.

We have enough of our own problems, and charity starts at home.

It might seem like you’re alone, but you’re not.

We are here, and we have your back.

It’s going to be a long march to freedom, but you already knew it was never going to be easy to be a man.

Stay strong out there.

Bravo
