The DNA evidence is that anyone who isn't of African descent has Neanderthal DNA in them (something like 2-5%), hence the out of Africa theory. In summary though - pre-Eurasian man boinked a neandergirl soon after leaving Africa, and the offspring then spread out.
I'd start thinking something's sus when that kind of DNA evidence gets ignored... The book seems interesting but smells a bit conspiracy-theory-esk. Or like something that might get taught at an underground KKK college...
