Also another matter - the Quran was unknown, the main Hadiths were only translated in the 1990s! Without at least the main Hadiths and the biography of Mohammed you simple don't have the full picture of Islam. The Quran is only part of the mountain of shit that Islam's ideology is.

The people in Europe going back even 200 years were not that tolerant. Protestants still fought bloodily against Catholics in some parts and those two don't differ much. A large Muslim population causing as much trouble as today in the West would have been brutally exterminated.

It's safe to say that Frederick never had to worry about Christian churches being torn down to make space for mosques or having to feed hordes of militant migrants. And I can pretty much guarantee you that if any of his Muslim soldiers would have started to rape and pillage the native Prussians there would have been swift justice served by the pointy end of a musket.
