Don't believe the hype. My last town in Australia was swamped by a massive wave of Indian, Somali and Asian immigration in the last five years. I mentioned in another thread that the Police, Health and Electricity infrastructures were already starting to fail to cope with the massive population increase, and certain areas had already become 'no go' zones.
I think the powers that be are dumping them in the poorer rural regions.
If you want an illustration of how bad things are: the Catholic school around the corner from me sent out community leaflets a few months back. The Principal's opening statements not only mentioned equality and everyone being equally valued, but mentioned the importance of Respecting Diversity three times in five paragraphs.
