I think young people are text-aholics because of $$$. It is cheaper to have a text messaging plan with unlimited texting, than it is to be able to call someone and burn up minutes on a Monday afternoon. I had girls tell me that they text me because they have the cheapest possible calling plan, and texting gets the job done all the same according to them.
Women are easily distracted; it's much better to start texting, stop, continue texting...than to cut someone off in a conversation. Stupid, but it's the way it is. I would hate to be in the game 50 years from now; lord knows what stupidity will replace the almighty text.
