Just like this behaviour can not be called "shit testing", "trolling" is also the wrong word for these situations.
Trolling would be when it is done out of boredom, cattiness or as a joke.
Real life trolling would be something like you walking around with your mother, and asking men aggressively "YOU LOOKING AT MY GIRLFRIEND?"
