IQ is important. I agree it is genetic and can't be taught. So are looks & health, your kids can be smart but the breeding stock will spiral if they are unattractive physically.
What matters for happiness is values, social skills, and family. For success: intelligence, looks, work ethic, & family money.
You can wife up a high IQ wife who is unattractive, and have unattractive kids who are unpopular at school.
Their life will be hard your boys will never get laid in 2050 dystopia no matter how much digital currency they have.
We can isolate any characteristic and say how important it is IQ, Beauty, etc.
EDIT: Also, if you want a high IQ kid, really a big key is the number of kids you have also.
