I'm still a young man, but as I've gotten older I've also begun to realize the importance of being close to family. If you decide to move to another country, you may tell yourself that you'll visit Mom and Dad, but in the end, you won't. And if you do, it won't happen frequently. At least not for most men. Hell, both of my parents came from different states and I rarely saw either of my grandparents growing up.
