For SEA, depending on places, in BKK or the Philippines (in the Phils for 3k/month, you'd be a royalty almost LOL), definitely, you'd live it up quiete nicely. For other areas like Hong Kong, Singapore and especially Tokyo, you'd be barely covering your rent at most.
