When I was in the biker club(cough, gang) I witnessed someone get pistol whipped so bad that their skull showed through their scalp. I was the only one to step in and had a pistol pointed at my abdomen by a incoherently drunk man. Shamefully, I didn't do more because I knew the man committing the act. Someone else told the police which saved me from having to turn on a fellow member who did countless favors for me before then. I'm not proud of myself, still hold the guilt and will never forget. I changed my life drastically after that.
