Mass killings are often done by sexually frustrated beta incels, and there's a lot of asians and white males in that category.

I think it is largely due to the constant, but often somewhat subliminal, attack on masculinity and masculine roles.

I remember reading about how during one of the shooting incidences, I think it was Sandy Hook, the gun debate was raging and within a few days of the incident a lot of people were pointing out that in China a man stabbed a bunch of children.

If you look at the history of incidents of shootings/killings in this fashion it always happens in areas that are seen to represent hallmarks of masculine success.

Go back in time to the 70s and 80s and it was work place shooting and was called "going Postal" due to it happening in some post offices by employees.

A job has always represented what we tell people is a hallmark of success that allows a man to be a man and engage in his masculine need to provide for a family.

Then with Columbine it was school shootings. Is that surprising since it was boomers and older folks in the system constantly harping on and on to gen xers and millenials about how you will never amount to anything, or be a successful man, if you don't get an education.

Recently there have been children targeted in a few incidents like Sandy Hook and apparently this is somewhat common in China.

In China having children represents a masculine success. Same is largely true here.

While I don't think this is 100% of the answer to the problem I do think it is a large part of it.

Simply put, most men are not violent by nature. This is why the army has to break men down psychologically and then build them up to be potential killers.

When men are in existential pain they are far more likely to kill themselves because they blame themselves. If you see yourself as a problem then you turn inwards as a violent reaction.

However if you blame the system then you turn against the system and target the icons of success in that system (Children, recreation like movies, places of employment, education, women and their nature, etc.).
