You'll still have to provide your own powder, primer, and bullet. But its better than solely relying on stockpiled ammo, because along with food you can be guaranteed ammunition will be one of the first things to be looted in a shtf scenario. Reloading can also be fun, though I haven't tried it yet.

Eventually might get into it. Maybe even get into casting pistol caliber bullets.
