Mothers' Day
I had a glance at my Facebook feed on Mothers' Day. Apart from the usual excessive compliments towards mothers (vs relatively nothing on Fathers' Day), I see a lot of single women around Wall hitting age congratulating themselves for being non-mothers, because they believe it's not fair they're left out on the occasion.
I hear you on the part about friends. I've been thinking about that lately with some of my close friends, and realising that they are more like acquaintances these days.
