My ancient and trusty Fossil watch died today and inspired by this thread, I've decided to pick up my first proper watch, presuming I find one that I like, while I'm in Hong Kong/Singapore when I go through there in a couple of months.
I'm not looking to spend an absolute fortune, around US$800 to US$1500. I've always liked the look of Longines in general, but I know nothing about watches, I just know I've seen a few of them that I like. I need to get one with a leather strap, but apart from that, I'm open to suggestions.
Any experts out there?
