Yes you have to deal with alot of their BS and attitude, etc, but once they fall in love with you. She will go to hell and back with and for you.
They are very strong mentally and will be there to help you out no matter what, lose your job ( they will sell ) their wedding ring to help you get back on your feet, whatever it takes they are seriously the most ride or die chick you would ever want in your corner.
They're plenty "ride or die" if you're "hard" enough to meet their standards and then subsequently overcome the entitlement and the attitude. For any black man with a background even mildly similar to your own (that'd be about 80-90% of black american men), this is a pretty good deal.
If you're not that guy, then opposite rules apply. They will be among the most hostile, mercenary and disloyal women for a man like that, and are probably best avoided in that scenario.
Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.
