When I was in Tampa (El Mech's hood) this past summer, I used a variation of this I found telling them that I was interviewing/or had accepted a gig down there gave me even more leeway. Plus I had family in the area to boot
*explained why I was chilling in a plush hotel room for 5 days
*wanted to see the area - got a rental (some were more than happy to drive me around)
*used family as an excuse to boot them out of mi casa
Banged a couple and mingled with a few more during my stay
Ironically enough, had a chick that I banged long ago that now lives down in Orlando, offer to scoop me up from the airport but didn't fit my time parameters so I chose another option for transport
