Asuming you're not sikh,if you can mention guru narnak and his 3 days in the river and make a parralel between him and jesus and his days before resurrection and make it sound like your genuinely interested in the sikh faith this will help you no end!! I did this in cambridge(u.k) and spoke to one of the guys and ended up drinking with them all night just because i was interested.I suggest a little reading on sikh religion(it wont be heavy) you just need the basics.Hope that helps a little
