There's a stereotype in Poland that girls that like Spaniards are stupid and naive (probably because local guys want to shame them and cockblock foreigners). As a result some Polish girls develop a bit of a bitch shield when they meet a Spanish guy, specially if he's Erasmus since they have a reputation of not taking Polish girls seriously (Pump and dump). Also there's so many Spaniards in Poland that the exotic factor is much lower than before.
There's not that many British guys in 2nd tier cities and thus have a higher exotic factor. Many girls may also be keen on practising their English with a native speaker, so I can imagine UK guys doing well in Poland.
