Future of the Red Pill/Manosphere

I got to thinking the other, dangerous I know, but hear me out. I read all the time about America going to hell in a hand basket, and in a lot of ways, it is. I read about how other countries do it better in terms of how they raise their women, how their society functions, and in some ways yeah, Thailand is better, Hungary is better, etc. etc. But my same complaint about charities that do their good works over seas when the same solutions are need at home applies here. Why isn't the manosphere (hence forth, we) doing anything about the political and legislative climate at home.

Given the podcasts I listen to, the in depth and well researched articles I read, the cogent thought, and the time committed to making ourselves into better men, are we not the best people to take the reigns of the country we constantly malign? Are we not, in all likelihood, some of the most charismatic, articulate, well read, and successful people in the country when compared to our peers? Do we not have the breadth and depth necessary in different cities and communities across the country to make an impact for the better in the towns, school districts, and legislative districts we live in?

It doesn't matter where you fall on the political spectrum, though I'll go out on a limb and say many of us are conservative fiscally and can see the country is heading fast and furious to an end we can't afford. I'll go further and say that I think the vast majority of us, when it comes time to vote, would vote for a Libertarian if they were a truly viable third party, and that in all likelihood, because many of us are realists, pull the lever for the Republican because they're the far lesser of two evils.

Of all the issues plaguing this country, are men not the most reasonable people to make those decisions? Men are rational where women and liberals are emotional, men are proactive where women and liberals are reactive, and men are protective when and where it matters where women and liberals are inclusive to a fault. Nearly all of the issues plaguing this country can be solved by sober thinking, level headed men in positions of authority to make them. That's why I propose the following (which I will begin to apply to myself, and will redouble when I find a place to call home for the foreseeable future).

We should begin to inject ourselves into local public office. Take that how you will. If you're later on in life and have kids, running for the school board to be a voice against the idiotic rules they come up with and the left leaning curriculum they're taught would be a giant step in the right direction for future generations as well as providing a true male role model for themselves to look up to.

If you're younger, volunteer for a campaign within a party or organization that believes enough of what you do that you can support them. Network and make a name for yourself, if the opportunity arises, work for the candidate should he win. Groom yourself as a replacement or a candidate in another district.

Be active in your local government. How many plastic bag bans, taxes, handouts or trains to nowhere (CA specific clusterfuck) could have been avoided had a man with the courage of his convictions and the balls to make them known spoken up about the painfully obvious stupidity that surrounds each of those votes.

I may be wrong (I’m not afraid to accept criticism for my opinions when they are based in fact, and I welcome discourse always so I’m wrong I want to know so I won’t be wrong in the future), and I may be overstating our potential, but I truly believe we have the power to silently, and successfully bring America back to the power and prestige we once held if we only choose to seize it. Beta's will cower at way we hold ourselves, yet look up to use when we speak the truth, and show them a better way. Women will flock to you as the Alpha running for and winning public office (perhaps a return to the halcyon days of JFK could be in order when both the work of the nation and Marilyn Monroe got done in the Oval Office). I know there's lots of folks extolling the virtues of working in the oil sands for 6 months and reaping six figures, so I leave you with this classic Frank Underwood quote: "Money is the Mc-mansion in Sarasota that starts falling apart after 10 years. Power is the old stone building that stands for centuries. I cannot respect someone who doesn't see the difference."

Carry on.[/rant]
