I am planning to undergo 9 days of water fasting at the end of the year.
This is an idea that´s grown very attractive to me over time, as I studied nutrition and natural medicine.
Just for the record, I´ve been lifting weights for 12 years, I already do intermittent fasting and have become a lacto vegetarian for 11 months now (the benefits such as improved digestion and disposition speak for themselves).
I am 6´1, weighing 205 lbs, fairly lean at 11% bodyfat.
Water fasting is interesting to me for many reasons, such as improved mental clarity and enhanced perception (useful for meditation and spiritual practices in general), purification and healing of body and mind, fat loss and, above all, learning more about the human body and ancient medicinal techniques that are attuned to nature.
