I read a little more about it, and it seems the main effect of a long-term fast is to get into ketosis. If that's the case, and if that's where the weight-loss benefits come from, then I'd prefer/suggest just doing an Atkins/Low-Carb type diet. That way, you will at least have something to eat, and you will still get the weight loss benefits of ketosis.
Today, I'm starting IT (Intermittent Fasting), and hopefully I will get some good results!
Yeah, Low-Carb will get you into ketosis. This is why I don't see the point of doing a water fast for such a long time. To each its own.
