This works in L.A. and Texas too. It's not that unusual, there's some cross cultural aspects to it. In Colombia it's even way more "exaggerated" as my euro friends would say. There's a fantastic niche there for an asian man who has it together.

Maybe i'll do a datasheet in the near future .
