I don't think homosexual activities have significantly increased over the years. Today it is more encouraged to come out of the closet and to embrace the gay lifestyle, that's why there are seemingly more homo respondents. It is just a cultural thing, at least in the US, that anti-gay speech is not as tolerated anymore as it was 2000-08 when gangster rap was the shit and people were less willing to reveal their gay tendencies, even anonymously.

There are many statistics from the US and Western Europe that actually indicate that a few decades back much more men made homosexual experiences than today. I suppose this is due to the fact that porn wasn't widespread in those days and women were more protected, which made it more difficult to have constant access to pussy and to get SNLs in night clubs, so the dudes began to play with themselves.

I also suspect that the rise of gay activities among adolescents is less a result of gay propaganda but of smartphone/video games/facebook-induced social isolation. Young men in these days have bad social skills. They cannot communicate with strangers, make friends outside of their circles and talk about meaningful topics; all of which are crucial to meet and game women. In addition to that, they browse porn websites everyday and we all know how easy it is to get accustomed to weirdo porn stuff that among some men lowers the inhibition threshold to watch gay porn and, finally, try out dude sex themselves.

The pro-gay sentiments in the mainstream media and in the cultural industry on their own are not strong enough to make people gay. These sexual orientations are simply an evolutionary reality.
