This thread has the potential to be one of the best on the forum, props to Christian, Distant Light, Soup, SpiderKing, etc.
I've organized nights at clubs, booked international talent, ran large events, etc. but never had a formal role as a club promoter or host, even though some buddies have done it.
I've haven't had problems locking places down in the past, but always open to learning better ways to monetize it, or get on the level of some of you guys at more exclusive spots.
To help the younger members, maybe one of the directions in this should be to answer the question:
"Say you just moved to a large city where you don't know anyone, how do you build up to being VIP with options each night of the week, and side benefits with that rich/hot crowd?"
