You have the perfect storm of a collapsing currency and no tourism due to sensationalist media. My prediction is things go back to 'normal' in Kiev pretty soon. I'd be more concerned in the eastern parts of Ukraine to be honest.

I have asked numerous girls here whether they are pro Russian or pro Ukrainian, the general consensus is that they don't really care and they want everything to go back to normal.
If the Eastern Ukrainian cities went to Russia that would be a shame for us guys, many of us would need a visa.
