Looks OK, but for real how do guys layer so damn much? That guy has on like 15mm of fabric. Even in Canada or Sweden in the winter that would be too much.

I have noticed that mens fashion online loves layered looks but the reality is just simply does not work.

Shirt. Jacket. Overcoat. 3 layers.

That would be fine for me during a UK winter, even this time of year.

Is that an overcoat? I thought it was just another double breasted jacket, over a flannel double breast. Double breast to me is already two layers, so I would count that as 5 layers.

At Christmas I was visiting family in the rockies and it was -25 Celsius and I was a shirt, jacket (single breast) and overcoat (double breast) and it was fine. I am Canadian though so anything warmer than -5 would be a recipe for damp clothes.

My English buddy wears tweed and a wool cardigan at +10 and seems fine though. I am a bit jealous of guys who can layer.
