2 Years a Lesbian

This will sound pedantic, but it honestly isn't my intention...
A woman who, in her life, has had significant sexual feelings/desires, and acted on them, with both men and women isn't a lesbian. She is bisexual. I don't buy that between 198x and 199x she was lesbian then after that she was straight. They are just playing with labels. This is the problem with homosexual identity, and political homosexuality. Those obsessed with this identity end up tying themselves in knots.
I agree that there are very few true lesbians. Even someone as butch, ugly and disagreeable (at least in later life) as Andrea Dworkin have significant sexual history with men. In Dworkin's case she was even married to a man. It's nonsense to say that she later "discovered" that she was a lesbian. It was just a socio-political label for her.
