Some guys are motivated enough by these kinds of feelings to take massive action. Some aren't. I think you'll regret it if you don't take massive action and change your life. The good news is that when you try, any improvement or indeed any action will trigger a dopamine hit and you'll be happier than just sitting on the sidelines. I don't bang nines, but I don't experience those pangs you talk about (I did when I was an adolescent) because I have had nevertheless improved myself and had good experiences with attractive women.
