So what is the deal with magnesium?

Do you guys think 200 mg a day is enough? I take 2 pills of the 'Doctors Best' brand which is 200mg. I used to take 400 mg of another brand, but because I didn't feel like popping 4 Mag pills a day, I've kept it at 200. Not sure if this is a waste or it's good enough.
