Examples of frame control

A historical example of frame control, sourced from the book Genghis Khan: Emperor of All Men. With some minor edits from me:

Background: Very early in his life, prior to becoming known as Genghis Khan, some members of an allied tribe have come to discuss matters with Temujin, but they plan to betray him...

Quote:Quote:

"O Khan, I have served thee, until this day!"

His meaning was clear, and his six sons made ready to rush upon the Mongol.
Temujin stood up. He had no weapon and there was no way out of the tent except the entrance.
Instead of calling for aid he spoke sternly to the angry clansmen. "Aside! I wish to go out!"

Surprised by the unexpected command, they gave way, and he went from the tent to the guard post of his warriors.
