Vancouver sounds lovely and might be a better fit, it is more expensive and I hate rain.
Toronto is just unforgiving, you better have your stuff in order. I like the city, it has a nice feel to it. I live in the burbs so I tend to have my spots, local malls, Whole foods, Starbucks are my usual haunts. Eaton Center I stay away from especially after some people got shot in the food court.
I just read through Scotian's Newfoundland thread. Evidently the women there are beautiful and super easy. Have you ever been there?
