Most of the peacoats shown above are too boxy/squarish, add too much space at the midsection, don't have enough structure, and have too much exposure of the neck and upper chest. Neither stylish nor very practical for shielding against the wind.
I've seen much better peacoats on real people but I've never seen them in stores.
