Williamsburg, Bedford Ave, G-Train, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope != All of Brooklyn. If it's within 20 minutes of Manhattan by train, it's basically East Village lite. The LES with basically the same rent, more space, and less amenities.
East Flatbush, East New York, Brownsville, Bay Ridge, Canarsie, Brighton Beach, Coney Island - still real Brooklyn. Hasids, Eastern Euros, West Indians, East Indians, Pakistanis, Italians, Polish...that's the vast majority of BK.
