Smart is fine, brilliant is bad.
Most of the posts here concern "smart" men.
Being smart doesn't present anywhere near the issues that being brilliant does.
Imagine driving a race car on roads designed for Toyotas.
You can't just say, "Drive the race car slowly!" It doesn't work that way.
But unless you're IQ is in the range where people say things like, "He's one of the smartest people I've ever met," professors praise you and try brining you under their wings, etc., then there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between smart and brilliant.
